Cook the pasta according to the package directions.
Reserve 1 cup of the pasta water and drain. Toss the pasta with 1 tablespoon of the olive oil.
Chop the veggies and add the zucchini to the pan that the pasta cooked in with the remaining olive oil over medium heat.
Saute for about 4 minutes and add the tomatoes, pasta, lemon juice, pasta water, salt, and parmesan. Toss everything well and remove from the heat.
Sprinkle with basil and additional cheese if desired. Serve!
