Gingerbread Blondies with White Chocolate Chunks

These blondies come together in just a few minutes and combine all the goodness of gingerbread spice with classic blondies and rich white chocolate chunks. Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Grease and line an 8x8 inch square baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. In a small mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, sea salt, baking soda, baking powder, cinnamon, ginger, cloves and nutmeg. Set aside.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the dark brown sugar and the melted butter until smooth. Whisk in the egg and vanilla extract until incorporated. Whisk in molasses until incorporated.
  4. Pour the dry ingredients into the wet and stir with a rubber spatula or wooden spoon until there is no more dry flour. Stir in the white chocolate chunks.
  5. Pour the mixture into the prepared baking pan. Using the back of a spoon or an offset spatula, push the mixture into the pan and smooth the top.
  6. Bake for 16-19 minutes until the edges look set and the blondies are golden brown.
