Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees.
  2. Whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
  3. Cube the butter when it's cold and add it and the grated cheese to the flour mixture.
  4. Incorporate well with your hands or a pastry cutter, until the butter is in pea-sized clumps and is well distributed.
  5. Add the milk and green onion and mix with your hands until the mixture pulls together, but don't overmix.
  6. Turn out the dough onto a well-floured surface and press it into a disc that's about 1+1/2 - 2 inches high.
  7. Using a glass or a round cookie cutter, cut biscuits out of the dough and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment.
  8. bake for 10-12 minutes, let clumps slightly and serve warm.
