Is there anything better than crisp Fall air and all the seasonal flavors?  While the official start of the season may be a few weeks away, we believe in celebrating flavors like apple and cinnamon all year long.  

With all the kids back to school this time of year we’re also looking for meal prep recipes to save time during the busy work week.  Breakfast is typically the most rushed meal in every household. So make a single or double batch of these Oatmeal Muffins for the week, and just reheat each morning for a healthy and delicious breakfast.  Oh, did we mention the muffins are also kid approved?

To make these apple Cinnamon Oatmeal Muffins we simply add all the ingredients into a blender, blend, stir in the apples, and bake in a muffin tin.  We made them healthier by using oats to replace regular flour. Oats are higher in fiber and other nutrients to help keep us fuller longer. The muffins are also naturally sweetened with a ripe banana and maple syrup.  And lastly, we used applesauce and greek yogurt in place of regular butter for healthier fats.
