Turmeric has been used in India for thousands of years as a medicinal herb and is known for alleviating inflammation and arthritis, is an antioxidant, and is brain boosting. Besides the benefits of turmeric, this turmeric latte also has some healthy fats and protein to help keep you full for longer and it tastes absolutely amazing. Just don’t forget to add the pepper – it helps with the absorption and boosts the bioavailability in the body.
In a small pot over medium heat, add almond milk, water, ginger, turmeric, and the date. Bring to a boil, about 5 mins.
Add to a blender with the remaining ingredients and blend until smooth.
