Rich Bourbon Chocolate Chip Brownies are gooey, chocolatey and have a touch of bourbon for a flavor anyone would love…especially dad.
Mixing in bourbon in this recipe add flavor and moisture, but don’t worry, the booze cooks off in the oven. You’re left with a decadent, chocolatey treat!
Bourbon Chocolate Chip Brownies
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees and grease an 8x8 pan.
Melt the butter in a saucepan and add the sugars, bourbon, and vanilla to a bowl.
Pour in the butter and mix well. Once slightly cooled, beat the eggs in one at a time.
With a fork or whisk in a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and sea salt.
In 3 additions, add the dry mixture to the wet. Fold in the chocolate chips and pour the batter into the dish.
Bake for 22-24 minutes, and don't overbake! Cool and slice. Enjoy!
